Food trucks are the next thing when it comes to innovation in the area food with food trucks going around Delhi NCR serving savory preparations – everything from Mexican and American to Asian and Desi delights.
We spotted Street Foods by Punjab Grill a couple of days back parked at Ramphal Chowk, Sector 7, Dwarka. The bright pink and yellow truck has a crisp menu with Punjabi Thalis, Sunday favourites – rajma chawal, kadhi chawal, chicken curry and rice, tikkas and street yummies.
The honey chilly potato and vegetable noodles aren’t extra-ordinary but much like the ones you get on a cheap corner – the potato quite saucy, the noodles were decent.
The Happy desi burger is a must have!
A fresh bun, a crispy, spicy aloo patty, onions and mayo. The burger is more or less like one of those very, typically desi tawa made one. Wash it down with a masala shikanji – a refreshing drink with the summers kicking in!
They are here for a while and even though the preparations are not mind-blowing, they are quite decent for the price. Go visit them!
