After an exhaustive day at work, all that I need to unwind is some classic mystery show and really good food. And TGI rises to your cravings magnificently. Located out of Gurgaon and delivering gourmet North Indian and Chinese food, they have a delectable menu and some beautiful house specials. I ordered a selection of tantalizing Mughlai and Kashmiri delicacies. The order came spot on time. Their packaging is commendable with everything neatly labelled. I ordered a portion of chicken yakhni pulao, banno kebab, soya malai tikka, paneer dhania adraki and laccha paratha.
Chicken banno kebab were deliciously layered with crispies and grilled together as a whole. The kebab was very unique a very flavoursome. The meat could have been more juicier but with such a unique preparations, I am not complaining. Soya malai tikka – soya chaap diced into bite size pieces, grilled and tossed with a heavenly creamy dressing. The chaap was extremely fresh and so very soft.
Coming to the chicken yakhni pulao. Most of the Kashmiri dishes are either on the hot and spicy side or have a flavoursome, cooling taste to them. The yakhni pulao is the subtle, aromatic counterpart of biryani. Made with yogurt, whole spices, dry fruits and whole chicken, the pulao is simply ambrosial with its subtle, refreshing flavors.
Paneer dhania adraki was one of the creamiest, richest and most savory paneer gravies I have had in the longest time. The ginger flavor was prominent yet not over powering, and mingled well with the buttery soft paneer.
Most tandoori breads lose their essence if we get the delivered at home but TGI has that covered as well. A brush of extra butter in every layer and the laccha parantha was as good as it would have been steaming hot out of the tandoor.
The meal is accompanied by mint chutney, onions, cutlery and even after mint.
Why order from Tanishk Gourmet Indian? Their amazing range of gourmet curries and tandoori delicacies.
