In an oven-proof dish, add the tomatoes, chopped garlic, and half the olive oil. Mix well.
Add a pinch of salt, pepper, and 2 tbsp oregano and mix.
Place the whole block of feta cheese in the center, surrounded by the tomatoes.
Pour the remaining olive oil and oregano on the feta cheese.
Bake the tomatoes and feta in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees Celcius for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
Remove the dish from the oven and rest for 5 minutes. Using a spoon to mix the cheese and tomatoes well.
Add the fresh basil leaves and mix again. Add the cooked pasta and toss well. Taste and adjust the seasoning, I personally didn't need to add anything.
