On a previous occasion too Freshmenu had charmed me with its piping hot freshness, spot on flavors and tantalizing desserts. I received a hamper from FreshMenu and the exorbitant spread was absolutely mind boggling.
Starting with crispy shredded chicken – crunchy juicy strips of chicken tossed with bell pepper and a sweet after taste. The fresh crispiness and balanced flavors make for a great nibble.Three bean chicken and quinoa salad – French beans, rajma and lobia with lightly season juicy grilled chicken, lettuce and pomegranate seeds adding a sweet punch to the ensemble. Add on the olive oil dressing as per your taste and feel the protein punch in your body.
Vegetable Khao Suey – glass noodles with fresh crunchy vegetables with a lacey coconut milk soup lacked with fresh peanuts and burnt garlic that I absolutely adore but was pretty good anyway. Fuselli pasta in alfredo sauce – pasta done al dente with a creamy rich sauce topped with olives and basil leaves – very palatable. The star of the spread was chicken breast in mushroom sauce – a grilled to perfection with a creamy, flavorsome mushroom sauce and grilled vegetables on the side, sprinkled with some parsley. This was a flawless preparation and absolutely cannot be missed.
Their desserts are beautifully crafted and very tantalizing – jamun phirni tart – a brilliant fusion dessert with a crumbly tart stuffed with phirni and jamun and pistachios. The raspberry wine red velvet cake had a delectable raspberry preserve and gooey centre.
