Gud wali chaai and cutlets – Chaayos winter menu is here to warm you up

Chaayos has launched their 50th outlet at Connaught Place and it is not only huge, it has so many lovely, quirky things and so much more space to work and chat in. The high ceilings and the bright sunshine filtering in gives you all sorts of wanderlust goals. They have just launched their winter menu and it cannot get better coupled with a good book (yes they have a corner) and free WiFi.

Started with Gud wali chaai and God’s Chai. Gud wali chai is perfect for winters with lots of jaggery simmered and infused. God’s chai is truly soulful with spices from all over the country.

Paneer bhurji buns – creamy home style paneer bhurji with chopped onions and capsicum, a dash of jeera and served as an open sandwich on toasted buns. Quite an interesting bite. Mutton and chicken cutlets – these made for absolutely delightful tea time snacks. The deep fried crunchy snacks with a creamy mayo was absolutely delectable.

Chicken keema open parantha – malabar parantha topped with chicken keema and cheese and baked as a fusion pizza. The keema could have been a little more flavorful to make this one as impactful as their previous range of open paranthas. Kulhad butter chicken with kulcha – the kulhad series is absolutely ravishing with creamy butter chicken and served with kulchas.

They have also launched two new desserts, molten chocolate cake and banana walnut cake. Chaayos is doing pretty with their winter menu and the gid wali chai and chicken cutlets are my fav thing to try.
